We are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Long Beach, California.

What we need from you:

  • Effectively manage mechanical (and multi-discipline) projects by satisfying clients' needs, meeting budget expectations and project schedules.
  • Interact with facility and major business clients to identify their requirements, define project scope and prepare project proposals.
  • Prepare mechanical engineering designs for building HVAC and hydronic systems, meeting budget expectations and project schedules.
  • Provide support during construction phases.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Professional Engineer License
  • LEED Certification is a plus

EXPERIENCE:

  • 10-15 years of experience minimum, individuals should have recent experience working for a consulting engineering or engineering/architectural firm designing mechanical systems for facilities/buildings.
  • Experience in the following preferred:
    • Integrated Design
    • Energy Modeling
    • Central Plants
    • Sustainable Energy
    • Building Automation

SKILLS:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience in maintaining strong client relationships are required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people through oral presentations and written communications.
  • Ability to motivate multiple-discipline project teams in meeting client's needs in a timely manner and meeting budget objectives.
  • Experienced at using a computer, preferably knowledgeable with MS Word, MS Excel and MS Project.
